48 YEAR OLD Southern gospel pianist Roger Bennett died in Houston on 20th March from complications resulting from a long battle with leukemia. Bennett was well known for his years as the pianist for the hitmaking group The Cathedral Quartet.

ROLFE – Roger Bennett, 67, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 27, 2015 at his home. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, October 1st from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home in Pocahontas, with a short memorial service at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Cody McDaniel.
