Plan Your Trip - Potawatomi Zoo
All aboard! Grab your little ones and hop aboard the Zoo Train! Our historic CP Huntington electric train takes zoo goers by the Zoo’s red pandas, our large pond and Monkey Islands, animals from North and South America, the kangaroos, the Zoo Hospital, the bobcats, the Andean bear, and the otters before returning to the station.
Animal Encounters - Potawatomi Zoo
Purchase your ticket at the Zoo to hand-feed our American bison part of their Zoo-approved diet and talk to one of our zoo keepers about our nation’s largest land mammal. Only ticketed people will be allowed within the Animal Encounter area.
Potawatomi Zoo Species - Potawatomi Zoo
The Zoo houses nearly 400 animals–over 135 species–on 23 acres. Of these species, more than 60 are part of Species Survival Plans and more than 50 also serve as Ambassador Animals for our Education department.
