Michael David Jones Sr. (born August 25, 1969) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end for nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for four teams. He played college football for the NC State Wolfpack.

His receivers super-charged the offense and the Rage finished in first place which led to a playoff berth. Jones was also the receivers coach at Liberty University for a brief period in the same year. Mike Jones is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He and his wife Minerva have twin daughters named Brittany and Bridgette, and a son named Chandler.
