G.W. Carver High School for the Sciences provides students with an in-depth, well rounded and thorough college preparatory education with an emphasis on science and mathematics. At all levels of training, classroom teaching and learning are complemented with authentic, inquiry-based research experiences.

Thematic Courses: Students in the thematic G. W. Carver High School for the Sciences will follow the core courses outlined to meet graduation requirements. Thematic courses will be offered to students as outlined by the sequence presented.

Our mission is to nurture the development of all students as individuals and members of a multi-cultural society through an innovative, well-rounded curriculum in a positive learning environment.

Our mission here at Carver High School is to help teenagers become in the deepest sense, the people they are meant to be. This is an education that prepares students for college and more. It is not simply an education geared to the requirements of national tests.
