Tulsa Police said they believe there’s no danger to the West 51st and Union area where the initial stop happened, but they still encourage anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.

Authorities were searching for the man in a rural area in far west Tulsa County after an officer-involved shooting and pursuit Thursday.

Police are looking for a man after a traffic stop escalated into shots being fired and a pursuit. A Tulsa officer pulled over a man, who then pulled a gun and officers fired shots. The driver then took off.
