Tesla sales fell in the first three months of the year in another sign that Elon Musk’s once high-flying electric car company is struggling to attract buyers.

Tesla reported almost 336,700 Q1 vehicle deliveries, missing analyst expectations. That's 13% lower YoY and the worst quarterly data since 2022.

A tough year for Tesla stock continues after the carmaker reported a 13% drop in deliveries for the first quarter. Tesla shares were down 4.8% at $255.50 in premarket trading. Shares had already fallen more than 33% year-to-date when the market closed Tuesday.

Shares of Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) are getting hit with another round of big sell-offs in Thursday's trading. The price was down 5.4% as of 2:15 p.m. ET today amid a 4.3% decline for the S&P 500 and a 5.5% drop for the Nasdaq Composite.
