Robert Saleh once again is tasked with reviving the San Francisco defense following a rough season when the Niners struggled to slow down opposing offenses.

The San Francisco 49ers are excited to have Robert Saleh as their defensive coordinator once again. Saleh is a defensive genius who worked wonders in San Francisco during his last tenure with the team. The 49ers gave Saleh plenty of toys to play with during the 2025 NFL Draft. It will be exciting to see what he does with the defense this fall.

Returning defensive coordinator Robert Saleh said his loyalty to the 49ers is a product not just of the chance they initially provided him in 2017 but of how they stuck by him when his first two years as coordinator didn't go well.
