Zayn Malik has played a song from One Direction for the first time in 10 years, though Harry, Niall, Louis, & Liam have all paid tribute to the band.

Zayn Malik stunned One Direction fans in 2015 when he announced his sudden departure from the band – the first domino in the band's eventual breakup a year later. Now, almost a decade later, he stunned fans by performing a One Direction song at one of his concerts.

“Night Changes” saw a surge in popularity following the tragic death of One Direction member Liam Payne last year. Per Billboard: “In the week after his death, ‘Night Changes’ — which ran up to No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2014 — saw its US streams spike 416 percent to 4.9 million.”
