On Tuesday at 1:20 a.m. the NWS San Diego CA issued a high wind warning valid from 4 p.m. until Wednesday 2 p.m.

For the third time since early November, parts of Southern California’s Los Angeles and Ventura counties are under a red flag warning for extreme fire danger.

Winds will whip up and humidity levels will drop in Southern California this week, raising the risk for wildfires in parched areas still recovering from a recent destructive blaze

On Tuesday at 1:20 a.m. an updated high wind warning was issued by the NWS San Diego CA valid from 4 p.m. until Wednesday 6 p.m. The warning is for San Diego County Inland Valleys, Riverside County Mountains and San Diego County Mountains.

The gusty winds that helped spread multiple wildfires will slow on Wednesday, but dry conditions mean less potent winds could still be dangerous.
