Thousands of anti-Trump protests are erupting across the United States this weekend under the banner of “No Kings” day.

At the rally in downtown Wilmington, the crowd started to gather well before the advertised start time of noon. By 11:30 a.m., hundreds were already in attendance with many carrying signs with slogans such as "Resistance is patriotic," Stop illegal deportations," "Power to the people," and "Trump Lies."

Flag Day 2025 is expected to be observed with a massive military parade in Washington, D.C. — and hundreds of "No Kings" protests nationwide. Saturday also marks the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. Utah's Army-connected organizations will host an "Army birthday party" at Fort Douglas in Salt Lake City.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Cities large and small were preparing for major demonstrations Saturday across the U.S. against President Donald Trump, as officials urge calm, National Guard troops mobilize and Trump attends a military parade in Washington to mark the Army’s 250th anniversary.

So far, the cities of Birmingham, Mobile, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa, Huntsville, Scottsboro, Fort Payne, Guntersville, Jacksonville, Auburn, Dadeville, Selma, and Dothan have scheduled June 14 protests in Alabama.
