LAS VEGAS – The Charlotte Hornets defeated the Utah Jazz, 111-105, in the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Thomas & Mack Center on Friday.

League is officially underway in Las Vegas as Ace Bailey and the Utah Jazz take on Kon Knueppel and the Charlotte Hornets on Friday.

The Dallas Mavericks were truly blessed with the first overall pick of the 2025 NBA Draft after the tumultuous second half of the 2024-25 NBA season, picking Flagg, whose hype for the draft matched that of even LeBron James back in 2003.

Cooper Flagg made his first appearance for the Mavericks in Las Vegas during his professional debut at the NBA Summer League.

Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg described his NBA Summer League debut as "one of the worst games of my life," but drew praise from coaches and opposing guard Bronny James after a win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
