Who wants to be Judi Dench’s plus one to every event? Because she really needs the help. On Trini Woodall’s Fearless podcast, Dench says her failing eyesight is now preventing her from going out alone.

When asked about going solo, the star said she’s “not good at that at all.” “Not at all. Nor would I be now,” Dench said. “And fortunately, I don’t have to be now.” She laughingly said she has “no eyesight.” It’s not the first time the Oscar winner has shared about her poor vision.

The veteran English actress said that she now needed to attend public events with someone else, because of her worsening macular degeneration.

Dame Judi Dench has shared that she cannot leave her home on her own due to her fading eyesight. The 90-year-old actress has age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a condition which leads to a gradual loss of vision.
