The game was historic, as both Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart recorded triple-doubles, marking the first time in franchise history that two Knicks players achieved this feat in the same game.

Karl-Anthony Towns, who has carried the load during Jalen Brunson’s 13-game absence with an ankle injury, was a game-time scratch Tuesday before a 105-91 victory against the lowly 76ers at Madison Square Garden. Towns averaged 34.5 minutes over the 13 games since he was last inactive during a loss to the Warriors on March 4.
