Joe Root has become the third highest run scorer in test cricket as he helped England reach 332-2, only 26 runs behind India.

Root overtook former India batter Rahul Dravid by reaching 30 on the third morning of the fourth Test then leapfrogged ex-South Africa all-rounder Jacques Kallis by adding one extra run.
