A Brooklyn Park couple is receiving growing support from the community after a light aircraft crashed into their home on Saturday, destroying it. Mary Butler and Kenneth Tobacman are living at a hotel after their home burned down following the plane crash, which claimed the life of pilot Terry Dolan, a 63-year-old executive at U.S. Bancorp.

The NTSB has removed the crashed plane from a Brooklyn Park home for investigation, as the community mourns Terry Dolan.
The pilot was the sole fatality and there were no other injuries after a plane crashed through the roof of a Brooklyn Park house on Saturday, officials said in a news conference. One person inside the home was able to escape without injuries. A second resident was not home at the time, Brooklyn Park Fire Chief Shawn Conway said Sunday.
