In a major government shake-up, Palmerston, the cat who left the British Foreign Office in 2020, will come out of retirement and take up a new posting working with the governor of Bermuda.

The former rescue feline joined the British diplomatic service in 2016 and gained a large following online for fulfilling his duty with charisma. He retired in 2020 but is back in action now.

A new nonstop flight from Richmond International Airport to Hamilton, Bermuda will launch in June. According to a spokesperson for the airport, the service will launch on June 7 and will become the first international route from Richmond.
