A meeting is under way in Malaysia between the premiers of Thailand and Cambodia to discuss a potential ceasefire following days of deadly border clashes between the two South-East Asian nations, local state media reported on Monday.

The Southeast Asian neighbors waging their deadliest conflict in more than a decade accuse each other of starting the fighting last week.

After calls by President Trump, the leaders of Cambodia and Thailand are set to meet in Malaysia on Monday to discuss a halt to the fighting.
