Camouflaged on Thursday, Rickie Fowler disappeared Friday from the WM Phoenix Open. Fowler withdrew prior to the second round because of illness, the PGA Tour announced via social media. The 36-year-old shot 3-over 74 in the opening round, which he concluded Thursday, when he turned heads with his full camo attire.

On the course, world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is taking aim at his third Phoenix Open title in four years. Thursday's early wave of players was led by Rasmus Hojgaard of Denmark, who was at 3 under par through four holes, with a one-stroke lead over Ben Kohles and Rafael Campos.
