At a concert late last year, Sabrina Carpenter played at “arresting” Marcello Hernández’s “Saturday Night Live” character Domingo. And during the “SNL” 50th anniversary special, the pair were reunited.

Sunday night, a collection of some of the funniest people alive all descended upon the red carpet in New York City for the celebration of Saturday Night Live’s 50th season. Stars from across the decades gathered to pay respect to the iconic sketch show, including current cast members and some of the favorite hosts from across the years.

Sabrina Carpenter played the bride’s childhood best friend, Sophie, who, along with the rest of the bridesmaids performed a rousing rendition of “Defying Gravity” from Wicked, changing the lyrics to the likes of, “she swears she’s gonna try monogamy / She’s finally learned what is monogamy, and we will hold her down.”
