The Golden State Warriors set their sights on Kevin Durant before pivoting to a deal with the Miami Heat for Jimmy Butler, according to ESPN's Shams

"Sources tell me that Kevin Durant has no desire in a reunion with the Warriors," ESPN's Shams Charania shared during a Wednesday afternoon appearance on NBA Today. "He does not want to go back to the Warriors, where he won two championships, won two Finals MVP's."

Durant does not have a no-trade clause, but as noted by Chris Haynes, the Warriors would not have much interest in trading for Durant if he does not actually want to play there.
