Jalen Brunson is out at least another week, but Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said he is making “good, steady progress.”

The New York Knicks have had a rough go of it in the weeks since point guard Jalen Brunson injured his ankle in a road loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. New York has since dropped puzzling contests against the San Antonio Spurs and Charlotte Hornets, among others, but are still entrenched firmly in the Eastern Conference's third seed.

That is the case with these two teams, the Dallas Mavericks and the New York Knicks, prepared for a showdown on Tuesday night. The Mavericks will travel to the Big Apple to take on the Knicks for the second and final time of the season.
