A recent update for CD Projekt RED's The Witcher 4 has been confirmed to be further out than previously thought.
As part of CD Projekt's recent earnings briefing, the Polish company confirmed that The Witcher 4 is not going to release anytime soon and commented on the company's thoughts regarding generative AI.
Cameras have quietly began rolling on season 5 of the Netflix show ahead of season 4 releasing later this year.
The studio may look into gen AI if and when the legal landscape becomes clearer, but for now it's staying away.
We don't know when it will release, but at least now we know when it won't.
