More than 50 different pesticides, some of which are linked to serious health hazards, were detected on nonorganic produce in this year’s “Dirty Dozen” list.

The legacy produce still topped the latest “Dirty Dozen” list. Spinach ranked No. 1, with more pesticide residue by weight than any other type of produce, and strawberries followed at No. 2.
Both the Dirty Dozen and the Clean Fifteen are available at Environmental Working Group’s website, ewg.org. Don’t be tempted to wash produce with soap or cleaning solutions.
