U.S. Rep Jasmine Crockett became the target of Republican condemnation this week when the Dallas Democrat referred to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott as "Governor Hot Wheels" during a Los Angeles campaign event.

Crockett insulted Texas Gov. Greg Abbott at a Human Rights Campaign event over the weekend. Weber interpreted Crockett’s remarks as mocking Abbott’s disability, but Crockett said she was attacking the governor’s policy of transporting migrants to city’s led by Black mayors.

Dallas, faces criticism from Republicans after referring to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott as “governor hot wheels.” Abbott has used a wheelchair since he was partially paralyzed as a young man in 1984 when a tree fell on him.
