Juliette Binoche will preside over the jury for the 78th Cannes Film Festival, festival organizers announced Tuesday.

French actor Juliette Binoche will succeed Greta Gerwig as jury president of the Cannes Film Festival at the upcoming 78th edition.

The festival pointed out that it was only the second time in its history that two women had presided over the jury in a row, this after Greta Gerwig was jury head last year.

Oscar winner Juliette Binoche will serve as the 2025 Cannes Film Festival jury president. The festival runs May 13-24.
