Inside a quiet, dejected locker room, the Detroit Lions looked shocked and talked about feeling numb after the Washington Commanders stunned them.
“It’ll probably bother me forever, honestly,” Lions’ left tackle Taylor Decker said of his team’s 45-31 loss to the Washington Commanders. “…I’m walking up here in the locker room and you gotta hear them cheer. And rightfully so for them. They deserve to cheer. We just have to sit here and listen to it.”
The Lions had five turnovers and couldn't stop Jayden Daniels and the Commanders' offense in divisional-round loss.
Starting right guard Kevin Zeitler has been ruled out for Saturday night’s divisional-round showdown against the Washington Commanders. Zeitler suffered a hamstring injury in the Week 18 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The veteran lineman did not practice this week, sticking to treatment and rest.
