Vanderbilt baseball took its first home loss of the season and got shut out for the first time this season with a 9-0 loss to Arkansas Friday night. The Commodores did not get their first hit until the fifth inning and didn't get a runner to second base until the seventh.

Middle 5th Inning The Gamecocks potentially ran themselves out of an inning.  Will Tippett led off with a walk and Nathan Hall singled with 1 out. It appeared the runners got their wires crossed when Hall took off toward second on a pitch by Landon Beidelschies,

Arkansas and South Carolina are set to get underway at 2 p.m., with the Razorbacks looking for a series sweep. They won 12-2 in 7 innings Friday and 12-3 yesterday.
