Trans medic ‘felt unsafe’ after nurse’s comments in changing room, tribunal told - Dr Beth Upton said she was ‘really distressed’ after being told she should not be using a female changing area.

Dr Beth Upton said she did not intend any harm to anyone by using the female changing area at the hospital where she worked.

A nurse was so "embarrassed" about having to undress in front of a transgender doctor that she went to wait in the corridor, a Dundee tribunal has heard. Dr Beth Upton said that they had as much right as nurse Sandie Peggie to be in the changing room.
