There will be a chance for John Cena to capture a record 17th WWE championship after he announced his plan to enter the Royal Rumble next month.

Royal Rumble PLEs got twice as good in 2018 when WWE added a women's version of the iconic 30-person match to the card for the first time ever. The Royal Rumble, one of its biggest annual events, will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in January 2026. This marks the first time the Royal Rumble will take place outside of North America, and only the second time in its history it has been held outside the United States (the inaugural event took place in Hamilton, Ontario, in 1988).
