The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Los Angeles Rams 30-25 in Sunday’s Week 18 regular-season finale. Unfortunately, the Rams had already clinched the NFC West division. Head coach Sean McVay fielded a team largely consisting of backups as the Seahawks eyed their first 10-win season since 2020.

The Los Angeles Rams have won the NFC West crown, and the final standings have remained largely unchanged from Week 17 to Week 18. That, of course, means the San Francisco 49ers are in last place. They will have the 11th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and a more extended offseason than they’ve had the last couple of years.

The NFL playoff race always gets a little crazy down the stretch, and things got especially crazy in the NFC West over the weekend. The Los Angeles Rams clinched the division title on Sunday, even though they didn't even play and they were able to clinch it thanks to a win by the Washington Commanders.
