South Korean forward Son Heung-min has joined Los Angeles FC in a record-breaking Major League Soccer transfer, ending a decade-long stint at Tottenham Hotspur, both clubs announced on Wednesday.

LAFC reportedly broke the MLS transfer record with a fee of around $26 million, according to ESPN. The previous record was the $22 million spent by Atlanta United FC to acquire forward Emmanuel Latte Lath last winter.
