Cam Atkinson’s time away from the Lightning lasted just a week, as the team recalled the veteran forward a day ahead of Thursday’s game in Philadelphia. Atkinson was placed on waivers last Tuesday, a move that helped the Lightning clear cap space to make the trade with Seattle the following day that brought forwards Yanni Gourde and Oliver Bjorkstrand to Tampa Bay.
