Commissioners in Kerr County, Texas, are set to meet Monday in their first official court hearing since more than 100 people, including children and counselors at a summer camp, were killed in catastrophic flooding last week.

The region of Texas that suffered tremendous loss last week because of heavy rain and flooding is once again in danger of taking in more water. On Sunday morning, the National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the epicenter of the catastrophic Independence Day flooding event.

The National Weather Service has issued flash flood warnings for Kerr County for heavy rainfall in the area. The NWS has issued urgent language, telling people to avoid travel, unless you are fleeing.

The president and first lady visited Kerrville to meet local officials and families of the victims of the recent flooding. Trump promised federal support, but his team emphasized the state's role.
