Franco Colapinto has joined Formula 1 team Alpine as a reserve driver for this year after racing for Williams in 2024.

Alpine have acquired Franco Colapinto to become the team's reserve driver for 2025 adding further pressure on the under-fire Jack Doohan.

Formula 1 World Driver's Championship and the World Constructor's Championship will commence with a double header in April. Before the season kicks off, the team is making changes in their lineups to ensure a more competitive season than last year.

Formula 1 season is just around the corner, but Alpine is not done adding to their driver roster. The team announced on Thursday that Ryō Hirakawa was joining Alpine as a test and reserve driver for the 2025 season.
