Elon Musk has directed $3 million to conservative Supreme Court candidate Brad Schimel's campaign while spending another $16 million via two different groups.

The April 1 election will pit conservative Waukesha County Judge Brad Schimel against liberal Dane County Judge Susan Crawford.

It began 36 minutes late and was beset with technical difficulties, as Musk repeatedly talked over Schimel.
