The Powerball lottery jackpot was an estimated $200 million with a cash option of $89.5 million for Saturday night's drawing, according to the Powerball website. The jackpot was last won on Dec. 7 when a New York lottery player won a $256 million Powerball jackpot.

A Powerball ticket sold in California won $32,644, but just missed the $181 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The ticket matched four winning numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Wednesday, Jan. 1, the California Lottery said.
