Also known as the Cook-Tate Home or “The Friend by the Side of the Road,” the Dr. Martin Walton House has stood since 1809 after Walton moved to Robertson County in 1802.

“Our security guard, when he’s here, a lot of the times he’s outside and he’ll hear doors slam inside,” historian for the Dr. Martin Walton House, Heather Carver, told News 2.
