Players can still enter the transfer portal after the initial deadline thanks to an additional window for teams that played beyond Dec. 28, whether in bowl games or the College Football Playoff (CFP). Once those seasons wrap up, players have a five-day window to enter the portal, adding another opportunity beyond the December period.

The run-heavy team also has two of the best running backs in the nation, Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen. In his third year with the Nittany Lions, Singleton produced 12 touchdowns and 1,099 yards on 172 carries. Allen finished the season with eight touchdowns and 1,108 yards on 220 carries.

Wide receiver has been a contentious position for Penn State football, and one of the top players at that position has decided to find a new home. Junior wide receiver Omari Evans announced that he was entering the transfer portal.

Wallace, Evans and the other wide receivers failed to make a catch in Penn State’s 27-24 loss to Notre Dame last week in a College Football Playoff semifinal at the Orange Bowl. In the Lions’ three losses to Ohio State,
