After 14 days without a game, the New York Islanders are back in action to take on the Dallas Stars on Sunday night at UBS Arena. The Islanders went into the 4 Nations Face-Off break on a 6-3 to the Minnesota Wild on Feb.

The Dallas Stars play their second of a three-game road trip in New York on Sunday night against the New York Islanders. The Stars will hope to build momentum on a 4-2 win in New Jersey on Saturday and win on a back-to-back before heading to Columbus.

The team’s focus was all on Sunday night as the Islanders resumed their season against the Dallas Stars at UBS Arena after a two-week break for the inaugural 4 Nations Face-off Tournament while getting defensemen Ryan Pulock and Scott Mayfield back into the lineup.

The New York Islanders will see a boost on their blue line as on Saturday the club activated defensemen Scott Mayfield and Ryan Pulock from the injured reserve, reports Andrew Gross of New York Newsday.
