Jeremy Swayman will get the net Wednesday night in New Jersey as the Bruins try to extend their point streak (3-0-1) to five games against Jack Hughes and a talented young Devils team that is struggling,

On Jan. 23, Boston recalled goalie Michael DiPietro from their AHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins. This indicated that Swayman would be forced to miss time, and Sacco gave a new injury update about No. 1 before their contest against the Ottawa Senators.

Swayman stopped 25 out of 29 Devils shots he faced on the night. The Bruins were outmatched entirely by the Devils at that point of the contest, but Swayman did his best to keep the Original Six club in it. He made several big stops, but the Bruins could not stop the Devils' offense.
