Flanagan and Fogler join previously announced season 3 newcomer James Norton ("Happy Valley", "Little Women") as Ormund Hightower, the nephew of Otto Hightower (played by returning cast member Rhys Ifans) and cousin to Olivia Cooke's Alicent and Freddie Fox's Gwayne.

The fantasy drama series has started filming season three, which will once again consist of eight episodes. In addition, the show has announced two actors for the new season: Tommy Flanagan ( Sons of Anarchy) has been cast as Ser Roderick Dustin and Dan Fogler ( Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) as Ser Torrhen Manderly.

HBO recently shared a short video on X confirming that House of the Dragon Season 3 is finally in production. Returning actress Emma D’Arcy can be seen in her Queen Rhaenyra ensemble on the first day of Season 3 shooting.
