The Green Bay Packers have signed a new wide receiver. He has Super Bowl credentials and has a Pro Bowl and All-Pro on his resume. Mecole Hardman might not be the player or players Packers fans had expected at the start of free agency but his versatility and speed appears to fit the mold of what the team covets.

Mecole Hardman, a veteran wide receiver and return specialist, is signing with Green Bay on a one-year deal, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Though he's not the No. 1 receiver the Packers might be lacking,

The Packers have needs at cornerback, pass rusher and wide receiver. Fortunately for them, options are aplenty at those positions.
