COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ryan Day is more relaxed, and he’s not afraid to admit it. After Ohio State football completed its first day of spring practice Monday, the head coach — who is entering his seventh season at the helm — brought a humorous, laid-back temperament to a press conference lasting nearly 40 minutes.

Despite all of the player departures, Ohio State is still one of the most talented teams in the nation. If the young players can play up to their potential, the Buckeyes will be just fine. In order to get the most out of all the new starters, Day will need to put together a strong coaching season.
