Following a record-breaking passenger count last year, BWI Airport is getting closer to completing projects that will give millions of travelers each year more space to eat and lounge.

WBI's $450 million A/B concourse connector project is expected to open to the public as soon as December, Ricky Smith, the airport's CEO, said during a talk at the BWI Business Partnership on Jan. 22.
