Tyrese Maxey supplied 30 points and eight assists to guide the host Philadelphia 76ers to their fourth straight win, a 117-104 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.
Don’t look now but the Sixers have swept consecutive back-to-backs and tied a season high with their fourth straight win over the Kings Wednesday.
Outside of the off-court noise, the Kings are still a very capable team. Domantas Sabonis remains one of the best bigs in the NBA, and will have plenty of room and size to work with against the short (handed) Sixers. Outside of the Fox-Sabonis duo, they have plenty of scoring options with DeMar DeRozan, Malik Monk and Keegan Murray.
Maxey gives reason for observers to believe in the Sixers if Embiid is healthy and returns to the lineup, citing how they played well in December when they had their three-star lineup.
