Marshal of the Polish Senate, Malgorzata Kidawa-Blonska, affirmed the legislature’s support for ratifying the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA), aimed at enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.

Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk have agreed to consider elevating their bilateral relationship to a strategic partnership and strive to increase two-way trade to US$5 billion in the near future.

Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Poland reached over $2.5 billion per year in the 2021–2023 period. As of the end of last November, the trade turnover had climbed to $3.15 billion.
