Sales for Sony's upgraded PlayStation 5 appear to have stumbled after only a few months, as console sales in the US drop across the board.

Mat Piscatella of Circana has revealed that sales of the PS5 Pro have fallen behind the pace of PS4 Pro in the US.

Sales of the PlayStation 5 Pro reportedly fall behind what the PlayStation 4 Pro was able to reach in the same timeframe, despite a solid start.

Sony’s mid-gen hardware upgrade PS5 Pro enjoyed a similar start to its predecessor PS4 Pro in the United States, but now it’s started to fall behind. That’s according to Circana analyst Mat Piscatella,

Sony has not released official PS5 Pro sales figures. However, its latest earnings results included Pro sales for the first time, and showed that launch-aligned, PlayStation 5 is now just 1.5 million units behind PlayStation 4 during the same period of its lifecycle (75m vs 76.5m).
