July 25, 2022 / 2:32 PM EDT / CBS News David Warner, the stage and screen actor known for dozens of roles spanning genres and decades, has died at 80, his family confirmed on Monday.

David Warner, a British acting icon who’s genre roles are almost innumerable to count, has passed away at the age of 80. He passed from a cancer-related illness, according to the BBC.

Both Cross and Gatiss's episodes will air in 2013 and feature new Doctor Who companion Jenna-Louise Coleman. Issue 449 of Doctor Who Magazine is on sale from today (June 28), priced £4.50.
