Tyler Glasnow is feeling optimistic about his recovery from a shoulder injury that has sidelined him since late April, one of five Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitchers who are on the injured list.
Glasnow threw a bullpen session 10 days ago, giving the Dodgers reason to be optimistic about his progress, but the oft-injured right-hander hasn’t thrown off a mound since.
Glasnow, sidelined since late April, has resumed throwing and said he expects to throw another bullpen session later this week. He said his shoulder feels “really good.”
When Glasnow was on the mound, there's no debate that he's one of the better arms in Major League Baseball. He's proven that during his time with the Dodgers, posting an impressive 3.49 ERA while striking out 168 hitters in 134.0 innings last season.
