The defense won again on Day 3 of Jacksonville Jaguars training camp on Friday, July 25, at the Miller Electric Center. But the real test is coming: the team will practice in full pads for the first time on Monday, July 28, after a day off and in light pads ("spiders") on July 27.
Once the pads come on, the Jaguars will be able to answer plenty of questions about their team. How the Jaguars stack up along the offense line is one of the biggest questions facing the team entering training camp, and padded practices will be the first time the Jaguars can finally see how the unit is meshing.
The Jaguars defense had a strong showing on the second day of training camp, forcing turnovers and disrupting passes. The defense is focusing on a more aggressive approach, aiming for more takeaways. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence has yet to complete a deep pass in camp, partly due to strong defensive plays.
